We’re excited to introduce CleanCapture, our future-ready tool that automates the handling of abandoned items - submitted as an entry for the Innovation Trail.
So how does it work? In short, CleanCapture allows bidders to upload photo proof of a cleaned-out unit in order to receive their Cleaning Deposit back. Using AI-powered Computer Vision and Object Recognition, the app automatically reviews the images to confirm whether the unit has been cleared. Once verified, managers are notified for final review and can approve the deposit return.
This feature represents a major leap forward for online auctions in the self-storage industry. CleanCapture not only improves the process but also introduces smarter, automated ways to manage abandoned goods and reduce staff involvement.
